  • Sponsor Needed for a young woman and her 9 year old autistic child; she is seeking $200 US a month to pay for her child's special needs school. The mother also has an injured leg. After their home was destroyed, they sheltered in a church in Canefield, but are now staying in another temporary location where they have water but no light.

  • Daycare expense for a 5 year old with Down Syndrome:  EC$250, ($92 US) a month.  --- This child's mother recently died from an advanced case of cervical cancer. Their family includes 2 additional primary school aged children and a teenager.

  • Dial-A-Ride bus fare expense for a 20 year old with Downs Syndrome  EC$100 ($37US) a month. --- This person, displaced from the Petit Savanne landslides, has developed seizures since the storm. These transportation costs are round-trip from Loubiere to the Alpha Centre.

  • Milk and Pampers expense assistance for a 1 year old Kalinago Baby:   --- This child, the youngest of 8 siblings, had chikungunya at 2 weeks.

  • Pampers expense for a little boy whose father just died of pancreatic cancer: EC$100 ($37US) a month.
Current Need
​Narelle, born with Hydrocephalus and spina bifida and was rushed by her distraught parents to Martinique at a week old. She has been sponsored a year through Lifeline and has made great strides with help from a volunteer physiotherapist from All Saints University and dedicated child-minder . Currently she has an opportunity for a placement with her entire family in Trinidad for six months where we hope she will be able to learn to walk with professional help unavailable in Dominica. We are seeking a sponsor for return tickets (USD700).
