Help Support A Bereaved Family Located In Dominica
Lifeline Ministries is seeking sponsors to support four children, ages 6,10,14 and 17, who lost both their parents (Avonelle Charles and Marshall Jean Jacques) within 24 hours at the beginning of the 2023 New Year, in the village of Morne Prosper, Dominica.
Avonelle died after a life of domestic violence at the hands of her husband, Marshall, who subsequently took his own life. (Read the story on Dominica News Online)
Lifeline is reaching out to the people of Dominica and around the world for assistance in supporting and providing for the these children, two of whom are still in primary school and two who are in secondary school.
Currently, we are seeking a minimum of 20 sponsors who can each give a monthly donation of $100 EC ($40 US or £30). One time donations are also accepted.
Lifeline, which has a long-standing connection with the village of Morne Prosper through its Piton Foundation Scholarship Fund for over 20 years, is managing the contributions aimed at these children in need. (Learn About the Piton Foundation)
