Lifeline Projects: What we are doing and needs.
Your support is greatly appreciated!
  • Young Women’s Empowerment - helping women make better choices and see that there are alternatives to trans-actional sex through mentoring support group and practical assistance.

  • Children with Special Needs (Down's syndrome, spina bifida, autism) – Lifeline has identified several children whose families have no financial means of providing appropriate care. This includes medical, education, equipment needs and, in some instances, adequate shelter. Sponsors willing to contribute $100 US per month or one-time contributions are needed.

  • Peaced Together – this program benefits women who want to heal and grow using craft and journalling. Funding is needed to support current and new trainers, and to purchase supplies and sewing machines for the ten week courses now planned across the island.
  • Supporting Sexual Abuse Survivors – providing counseling and support through the disclosure, investigation And prosecution process. Lifeline is part of the NGO Coalition for the protection of children and youth campaigning for a Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC), a family court system and improved child protection services.

  • Building Back Better – and or contributions related to re-establishing roofs, and households. In one community alone, 37 people have no house and are living in tents since the storm.

  • And a wide-variety of many other things.
    Lifeline is about ACTION.
